A Brief Introduction
The 061 Base of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation, established through the approval of the special committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1964, is a scientific research and production one for the aerospace products with the complete equipments and more powerful production capability and a large modernized enterprise combining the military production with the civil products.
Currently, there are 20 factories (including 1 listed company), 2 trade companies, 9 institutions and about 16 thousand staffs in the Base (including the different kinds of personnel in specific field of 6 thousands, more than 650 staffs with the senior technical titles and 150 experts in the different fields ). The gross value of assets is RMB7100 millions.
The 061 Base that completed a large number of tasks of development and batch production on the astronautic products and items matched with the models of the aeronautics and astronautics in some satellites, carrier rockets and strategic and tactical weapons, etc. in our country, has made a tremendous contribution to our national defense construction and national economic development for over 40 years. Especially in the corollary equipments of the carrier rockets and "Shenzhou" airships, the Base successively completed more than 10 varieties of product development in power supplies, relays, electric connectors, special electric machines and electric explosive valves etc., so that the Base had the honour of winning the "Nation May Day Labor Prize" and the related personnel doing the "Nation May Day Labor Medals" in making an important contribution to successful firing of "Shenzhou-5 and -6" airships.
The Base developed and produced varieties of civil products such as technical equipments for the aluminum industry, CO2 supercritical extraction devices, automotive spare parts, micro-motors, speed variators for the hydraulic machines, oil-well measuring instruments, precise gears, medical devices, lithium ionic cells etc.. More than 20 high scientific and technical products represented importantly as the key parts of positron and negatron collider, heavy ion accelerator and synchronous radiation accelerator etc. have enjoyed high well-known degree and prestiges throughout the country and the parts of products have attained advanced world levels in the same products, in which, 7 products won the titles of national excellent products and 457 products were invested with awards for the grand invention and advancement in scientific and technical from the nation, ministry and province.
